Delicious Morning

Started the day with Ginger Stem Nairn’s Oatcakes.  I’d only ever tried plain and cheese flavours before (when I lived in Scotland), but the store only offered desserty flavours. These were deeeelish. Lots of ginger bite in them.

Yesterday I read a post on Tasty Kitchen about cooking spaghetti squash, I’d never tried it before, so that was today’s lunch. I chose a medium-small one, and 350 degrees for 45 minutes wasn’t quite enough time, but it was edible.  I finely grated parmesan cheese and mixed in ground black pepper, then stirred that in with the squash. Also yum. I’d be very happy to use this as a side dish in the near future.
